Tenuta Presti e Pegni
Monreale (PA), 300m asl

Quintessential Sicily. The sun from dawn to dusk.

Tenuta Presti e Pegni means heat and power, as well as great complexity.

Tenuta Presti e Pegni is everyone’s image of Sicily.

It is located in Monreale, on hills where the vineyards are exposed to the sun from dawn to dusk. The air is freshened up by the breeze coming from the sea, some 10 km away, which disperses the heat.

This is the home to our international varieties. Syrah above all.

On top of the old vines of Nero d’Avola, because of the composition of the soil and the microclimate, we decided to focus on international grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. This is Tenuta Presti e Pegni to us: the perfect terroir Sicily can offer to Syrah. There’s a Sicilian character in terms of power, but for the benefit of international grape varieties, with Nero d’Avola acting as the constant.

Here our Super Sicilian Noà is born, from Nero d’Avola, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, as well as Benuara, in which Syrah meets Nero d’Avola.
